This may be one of London's smaller train stations but it's a pretty good one.

Inside there are quite a few amenities such as your local M&S, WH Smith a couple of coffee shops even a dry cleaners.

There is a free cash machine, and the usual smelly toilets 30p charge.

Best highlight, there was an AMT Coffee there that was open.more

For the small size of the station, it is very busy on a summer Saturday but not overwhelmingly so. There are a bunch of food places - I was surprised by the tastiness of the halloumi melt bagel at the bagel stand, and there's also a coffee place and the usual pasties, upper crust, and M&S. There was a queue for the ticket machines, so they could use more of them, but it's actually not too bad....more

A lovely station and a great way to get out of The Big Smoke. Sometimes the ticket barrier guys are a bit surly, but otherwise it can't be faulted - especially architecturally!more

Train stations have to be practical and occasionally they're beautiful and old school like this one. It is cold, as there is no real closure and small so you straight through to the platforms. Beware to add another few minute to your journey though if you're train is due on platforms 4 to 6 as they are a walk away!

An interchange between the busy Bakerloo line and the Chiltern Railways national rail services, Marylebone Station is quite modern and very clean. Transiting from the Underground to the train platform is extremely easy.

My only complaint is that there are very few seats for waiting. There is an AMT Coffee (they're everywhere!) and a few other shops for grabbing a quick sandwich to take on the...more
