Mansion House opened in the 1870's and is now a station on the Circle and District line between Temple (normally Blackfriars, but it's closed) and Cannon Street. Like all Circle line stations, it is in travelcard zone one.

Well I love the tube part of this station. I've never before walked into a tube station between 5 and 6 and found it fairly empty with barely anyone in the platform. If that is what it is usually like thenexcellent.

Handy for City workers. The Friday evening service to Whitstable and the Kentish coast is cool. That's all I've used it for, but it didn't seem as overwhelming and chaotic as other stations in London.more
