This attractive and well preserved station is a real treat. A large mosaic of the Underground roundel logo greets people as they arrive from the street. The spacious ticket hall has all of its original tile work and even the escalators still have their upstanding lights.
It's a pity that more of the older stations on the underground network haven't been preserved to the same standard.more
