What the hell is it with this station? I am happy I rarely have to come here because it is nigh on impossible to find ones way from the tube platforms to the streets above.

I am not alone either as on the several occasions I have wandered aimlessly following the signs for the 'Way Out' that incidentally DO NOT lead you out, I have always teamed up with some other confused soul to find our...more

i have had the joy of navigating this labyrinth for the first time this week.

if you don't have a reason to go. don't go. the subways make no sense, crossing the road is like trying to cross a formula 1 track and the regularity with which the lift alarms go off is...erm.. alarming.

however, work insists i must travel to the deepest darkest south and so i have solved it by taking two buses....more

The end of the line for the Bakerloo line, Elephant & Castle is on the Northern Line Northern Line between Kennington and Borough. I had the special opportunity to change from one to the other and the transfer was easy enough with a lift between the two platforms. Or try the spiral staircase if you feel healthy.

Hot hot hot hot. I know all of the tube stations are hot but Elephant and Castle always seems unusually warm.

Aside from the killing heat and a load of annoying stairs, this station isn't bad at all. They've added WiFi for the games, the station is always clean and I rarely see those cute little mice that overrun some of the other stations.more
