This station could be a lot better improved but I do have a soft sport for this station as it is roughly a 25 minute journey from home and can get to almost anywhere in London really quickly. They have Euston Square which is a 5 minute walk and has circle, metropolitan and hammersmith and city line. Also Kings Cross St Pancras station is a 10 minute walk which has Circle, Hammersmith & City,...more
Well now Euston, you do a good enough job of providing a way to get out of London, but you could smile once in a while. No?
My two stars are a protest vote: it's about time Euston got some love, it's very much in the shadow of its neighbours King's Cross and St Pancras. Set back from the road there's little connection to the hustle and bustle of London life, so a passage through the station...more
OK, Euston Station might not be the most beautiful station in London but boy is the location handy as it is a quick walk to Kings Cross, Euston is not just a tube stop on a map but a train station (for you foreigners) which means it can get very busy indeed.
Food wise you are looking at small chains such as Burger King, Pret, Ed's Diner, sandwich shops, fast food Chinese and French, along...more

2. The Euston and Cider Taps craft beer bars are literally just outside the...more
I am a little conflicted about Euston Station, hence the review right smack in the middle of the star rating.
On one hand, it's a convenient station, located in the heart of the city and easily taking you to places like Manchester or Liverpool. It's impossible to miss, easy to get to by bus or train, and filled with food options for your journey. I don't even mind the rows and rows of Virgin...more
