How long does refurbishment go on for? Hmm, as long as a piece of string? Who knows at Euston.

I'd been through here before my recent trip & it wasn't much to look at. Now they've add a few shops it's not much better & the refurb continues.

People dashing about carelessly as if evading a predator. Haphazard retail layout. Where the hell is the signage? Never did get visual of the toilets....more

Euston is London's major station for travelling to other parts of the country. It's a bit old and worn compared to the likes of Kings Cross/St. Pancras mind you. Could definitely do with a bit of a refurb at some point.

I travel to the midland quite often to see friends and family, so I have to go via London Euston all the time.

It's a very busy station as it's the link from London to the midlands and the north, and as it's also an underground station it has a lot of people going in and out.

It seems to be undergoing some sort of modernisation at the moment, which can only be a good thing I guess.

The trick with Euston is to arrive as your train is boarding and depart as soon as you return back, spending as little time in the station as possible.

All the requisite chains here: Boots, WH Smith, Nero, Pret, et al. If you've got time to spare I suggest spending it at All Bar One outside the station to adhere to my point above.
