Internet Access, Internet Cafes and WiFi
You never have to be disconnected thanks to London's huge range of internet cafés and Wi-Fi enabled venues.
Most London accommodation provides a good connection to the internet, but if you're out and about then you can get re-connected at many places around town.
London was home to the UK’s first internet café, Cyberia, in 1994. Although this has since closed, there are many cafés providing internet access for an average price of £1 per hour. Copying and faxing facilities are usually also available.
If you have your own internet-enabled device, you can access Wi-Fi almost anywhere in London, often for free. You'll find it at coffee shops, bars, restaurants and even selected tube stations. Be aware that you will often have to ask for the passcode from the venue's staff.
