As local community leisure centres go this one is clean and welcoming. But then again it should be having had a recent 6 million pound refurbishment. Despite all this money it still suffers from the same sort of shortfalls all these places do. For example, there are only 2 changing cubicles in the mens changing rooms (can't comment on the ladies changing rooms without the police being called),...more

Just a quick note - the centre is now refurbed and open for business - only been for a couple of quick swims and did not go pre upgrade but it all seems quite nice and modern, no peeling paint. Showers could do with some more pressure hence 4 and not 5 stars but pretty nice place to go otherwise.more

As part of the Fusion network of leisure centres in South East London, along with other centres in Herne Hill, Camberwell, Peckham and Elephant & Castle, this is a council-run gym that does a very good job of acting like a much posher and more expensive one. Swimming in Dulwich Baths is like entering a vacuum in which time has stood still with no recognition that in order to attract customers it is necessary to buy into the trend of modernisation at least to some extent.
