Overview

Based in the South End Green area of London’s Hampstead, La Cocotte is a rustic French restaurant with a touch of modernity. With its name coming from the Le Creuset pots that almost all dishes are served in, La Cocotte concentrates on offering the most delicious and rustic of traditional French dishes, from the hearty stews of the forest and mountain regions, to the seafood of the coast and the more refined bistro style offerings of Paris and Lyon, all offered alongside an excellent wine list. Arranged over two floors, La Cocotte offers simple, cosy bar dining, complete with red checked tablecloths and low lighting at street level and a more refined, romantic and airy restaurant space above.

Found the restaurant online through the tastecard website.

Reserved a table here for a weeknight, mentioning the 50% taste card offer, which they said they accepted.

Arrived for dinner and loved the ambience both upstairs and downstairs of the cosy french restaurant. Ordered some wine (rose) and starters and mains...

The waiter/manager who was serving us seemed friendly and we got chatting...more

Very quaint French restaurant on quiet little Fleet Road just around the corner from the Heath. The inside is very neutral, calm and clean and the staff were all very friendly and we had fantastic service.

The menu can get a little pricey, but they do a very reasonable lunch menu. A coworker of mine swears by the salmon, I swear by the creme brulee. A nice stop if you want a nice meal away...more
