Wow, What can I say? Up until now I've ordered my comic books off of the internet. This is a shame because where possible I like to support high street businesses but there just aren't any shops of this nature near me.

Orbital Comics is such an adorable shop. It is very large and has a huge selection of comic books and comic-related memorabilia. Personally, I am not a comic-book geek, but I do have a liking and appreciation for it. The atmosphere was friendly, inspiring and intriguing. If you're in Covent Garden, find this place and take a look!more

I've only recently started reading comics but this place is already my favourite comic book store in London. I visit there on a weekly basis mainly because the

staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. It is true that some of their graphic novels

are a little more expensive opposed to Forbidden planet's prices but i

keep coming here because the staff is always willing to just chat with me...more

Forget Forbidden Planet?

If you're looking for an approachable, friendly staff from whom to get recommendations and a bit of a chinwag, look no further. While their range isn't as vast as FP, there's still plenty available including volumes, single issues and compendiums - and the bigger, newer stuff is near the front.

Comic store l33t.

Much smaller than the geeky superstore Forbidden Planet around the corner, Orbital Comics does one thing and one thing only: comic books. The selection isn't as vast, but it is more selective. If you're a discriminating comic-book aficionado, Orbital Comics will appeal.

Even, you know, if it doesn't stock what you actually want.
