This canalside restaurant is one of Shoreditch's hidden gems.

The deliciously tempting yet ethical menu features the freshest seasonal ingredients all prepared in stylish, eco-friendly surroundings.

Much of the food is organic and fair trade and the worms in the wormery eat up raw food waste.

We live nearby and the food is always great . Add to the fact it's run by a charity makes it really worthwhile. Menu is seasonal. Only fault is it can be a little quiet, particularly in the winter months.more

Very nice food, good coffee, free (!) filtered water (they don't sell it at all). Enviro-correctness abounds. Small menu, cheap (£5-£6.50 lunch menus), really great lovely delicious crispy hand-cut chips, made from potatoes, not from a freezer bag.

We started our evening with drinks out on the decking which was really pleasant, then came inside for food and that's when it all went downhill.

The menu looked reasonably priced and well thought out, but the food just...more
