My friend has been going on about this pub/bar for awhile. So as you come in the large bar with art deco wall paper wing back leather chairs, chesterfield sofa, expose Walls, tear drop chandeliers, period floor lamp.
As you go downstair to toilet old 80's & 90's records are use as wallpaper very cool..! more lovely art deco wallpaper and very, very clean toilets.

Having celebrated a momentous milestone here recently, I have nothing but good things to say about the Recreation Ground (or more specifically, the Wreck, which is the upstairs section, available to hire at NO COST. Yes that's NO COST). It stayed open till 2, and the staff were both relaxed and accommodating - these things rank pretty highly in my book, when you're hiring some place out....more
