The menu at Nobu London draws heavily on Matsuhisa's classic Japanese training as a sushi chef in Tokyo, as well as on South American influences gained during his extensive travels. This innovative "new style" Japanese cuisine has become both his trademark and the foundation of his success.
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.

My son took me to Nobu on my birthday and it was amazing, chic and glamorous.
Beef tataki and sashimi were were delicious.
My only observation is that since it was my birthday I believe they can do better than green tea ice cream and a candle.
Liked it better than Nobu Miami and NY.more
I booked this for my partners birthday celebrations. I was initially surprised at the ease of booking a slot and the restaurant was very accommodating. We had been meaning to try this Nobu but had not got round to it. On arrival we were greeted by a cloakroom attendant who checked in our belongings then we moved onto the restaurant. The staff were always polite, courteous and very helpful....more
I've LOVED Nobu!! I was taken there for my birthday treat and it really was a treat!!
We arrived on a Tuesday lunchtime so it was fairly quiet and were seated immediately. Prior to entering the restaurant, you can give your coats and bags to the cloakroom and then go up the stairs to the main restaurant.
When we sat down we were given a choice of still or sparkling water (however I...more
Good and solid japanese food. Consistent with their other locations around the world. I feel if you you been to one, you been to them all. My advice: Try a Nobu that's not in the city you reside in, just for the experience.
We ordered all the usual stuff:
sashimi(uni/toro/hamachi/scallop/abalone/cuttlefish/wagyu/ etc)- very fresh
rolls - avocado roll and tuna roll...more
Before reviewing Nobu, I should note that I have been to Japan and eaten fresh sushi there.
That being said, Nobu is likely the best sushi you can have in London. Our party arrived on time and we were promptly seated. The staff checked our coats and took us to our table. The locale is very trendy with some great lighting centered just above the table. Great for taking photos of your food!...more
