Having known this place was here for years, I'd never stopped in until quite recently. I guess I had no idea that it was a bit TARDIS-like compared to its outer appearance (although it's not huge, it's considerably larger than it seems). Perfect Saturday mornings are when I roll out of bed, stroll down to Northcote, pick up some pastries or some bread and cheese and wander back home to dig in. I love the bread stall the most- the folks working there are always so friendly and their bread, pizza, sandwiches, croissants and cupcakes are all incredibly tasty!
The only downside as I see it are the thousands of strollers (prams)...more
This miniature indoor market is in my opinion the treasure of Clapham.
