Having known this place was here for years, I'd never stopped in until quite recently. I guess I had no idea that it was a bit TARDIS-like compared to its outer appearance (although it's not huge, it's considerably larger than it seems). Lots of little stalls inside reminding me of American-style antique/flea markets (which is a good thing). I know I'll be back to check out the ever-changing...more

Perfect Saturday mornings are when I roll out of bed, stroll down to Northcote, pick up some pastries or some bread and cheese and wander back home to dig in. I love the bread stall the most- the folks working there are always so friendly and their bread, pizza, sandwiches, croissants and cupcakes are all incredibly tasty!

The only downside as I see it are the thousands of strollers (prams)...more

This miniature indoor market is in my opinion the treasure of Clapham.

Despite the popularity of Northcote Road, the antiques market still feels undiscovered and authentic.

You will find all kinds of antiques here form silverware to glassware, retro, textiles, jewellery and furniture. If you want to see antiques and you want a good selection then this is the place to look.

Unassumingly nestled towards the bottom of Northcote Road, this antique market is a bit of Lion Witch and Wardrobe territory. Wander in through the front door into a narrow corridor of antique furniture, and you wonder how they make any money. I love Northcote Road Market for it's diversity, it's food and it's casual atmosphere. I was a local to SW11 a few years back and my boyfriend and I used to visit the market for fresh bread or homemade taramasalata, whatever was on offer on any given weekend.
