The Draft House

4 out of 5 Based on 12 reviews

The Draft House is a small group of Public Houses which aims to do for beer what our culture has done for food and wine over the past twenty years. Namely, we take its provenance, cellaring and serving seriously. We celebrate choice and quality with an extraordinary range of strange and wonderful brews.

While the Drafthouse Westbridge will always hold my heart, the Drafthouse Northcote isn't too shabby. Lunch and drinks were yummy, as expected, but the service was a bit on the spotty side. Absolutely love this place, me and my friends always enjoy the atmosphere and the food is very good. I would say it is definitely worth a visit.more

Seriously wonderful pub - which has a HUGE selection of beers from all over the world. Some of them can be a bit of a rip-off (being charged a fiver for a pint of Sierra Nevada is extremely irritating when I used to pay $8 for a six pack while living in California), but it's all really good stuff, with a massive British and continental selection. They fix an awesome Bloody Mary too.

The food looked and smelled amazing, and the beers were varied and well kept. The barman was unfailingly knowledgeable and patient as I eventually settled for 3 third-pints of different but wonderful ales.

However, there are a few things...more
