This site on the Upper High Street in Epsom has had a varied history - it was home to a succession of cheap supermarkets until Odeon took it over to build the cinema.
It's nice to have a cinema locally, which shows the latest movies even if it doesn't have the largest screens. However, the seats are nicely banked and it's quite comfortable.

I used to go to this Odeon quite often about 10 years ago.
I ventured back to see Avatar a few months ago and I will never go back (and it wasn't just the film that put me off).

CONSISTENTLY INCOMPETENT
Whilst I found the prices of refreshments to be off the scale of shocking, I could live with that as you can choose to buy them or not.
What was much worse was that every Odeon Epsom employee I interacted with was incompetent and rude.
It's almost like they were all trained to be uniformly that way - a sort of anti-customer service pilot perhaps?
