In the past few years, I have been attending film premiere events at this Odeon cinema, which is located at the far end corner of Leicester Square, next to the Hampshire Hotel, and right next door to a betting shop.
It's an okay cinema, nothing too spectacular. Personally, I'd rather go to the Soho Curzon cinema.more
For the price i don't feel this cinema is value for money.
There is barely any leg room, its lucky i'm quite short. You can't pass people once they are seated, so good luck getting to the bathroom half way through the movie.
The popcorn was a little stale, and the cinema wasn't particularly clean.
I definitely would not go back.more
I really struggle with the cinema in London. This is for a number of reasons; where I'm from £16 gets you and your family in to see a film and a bag of sweets, not just one person, leg room is bizarrely at a premium and whilst I'm not expecting cutting edge customer service at a cinema, the minimum of a smile or even just recognizing that I, like them, am a human being and can converse outside...more
I may have just slated the other Odeon cinema in the Leicester square...but I quite like this one.
It is still pricey (£16 each) but the seats are comfy, with more leg room that the other, larger Odeon. The seats are also well set up so even if a really tall person sits in front of you...you can easily see over their head. They have a good space upstairs with photos of all the famous film...more
