A pleasant surprise.
After bad experiences at some other Odeon cinemas in London, this one was much better.
Friendly and super helpful staff on entry? Yes! What a difference.
We walked in and one of the staff across at the snack counter called us over to save us waiting behind the people in front. On entry to the screens the staff were also friendly and helpful.

I quite like this cinema...and the area isn't that dodgy(!) so don't listen to the previous yelpers!! They only really show massive Hollywood films here, so don't expect any art house or sub-titled movies. At least the films my boyfriend works on are normally biggies, so we can see them here.*

Imagine you enter the old style atrium that spikes up two stories with large staircase leading you to the fantasy world?
Well, you'd get to experience all that - if you go to the Screen 2 of the Odeon Holloway Rd!
There are two reasons for 4 stars: neighbourhood may SEEM a bit suspicious (it actually isn't) and legroom could be a bit larger - other than that: it's great!more
A solid 3-stars for this Odeon. The theatre itself is not in the most prestigious neighbourhood, but at least you don't have to pay Leicester Square prices here!
I suggest that if you're going to watch one of the blockbusters here, to double-check in advance at which of the 8 rooms they're showing that film at a given time. Because, what happens is that when, for example, a new Harry Potter...more
