I've only been here the once so far but as it is the closest cinema to home I will probably venture back when I don't have the energy to use my free pass at Vue or Cineworld. I saw a film in screen 6 which felt like someone's front room which was a nice refreshing change from the large multiplex screens.

Don't feel this cinema at all, I'm more a VUE person than odeon, this particular odeon has very bad leg room and just feels dirty and uncleanmore
Screen 6 has comfy chairs and is huge which meant nobody (I didn't know) was sitting next to me whilst I made notes, clapped, stamped me feet in excitement and squealed as I spotted the hidden clues in the Avengers!

I went to Odeon Streatham last night for the advance screening of The Hunger Games (yes, I'm a nerd). Streatham has obviously had quite a fall from grace since its heydays as the Oxford Street of South London, thankfully, however, most of its opulent buildings remain - the Odeon cinema being one of them.
The main screen here (screen 1) is eye wateringly massive, 10 times the size of the modern cineplex crap. Even the local gangsters don't sit at the back, partly because there is no security...more
