Pub located on the Thames. It has plenty of seating, both indoors and out. The menu has some good options and the food was good. Could've used a few more staff but they may have just been short during our visit.more
The ambience and set up the old ship are nice and rather nautical.. Hence the name. We ordered two glasses of wine and decided to nibble on their chicken liver pate. It was yummy and nicely done. A little pricey but it was worth it.more
Arrived on a very wet, weekday afternoon, following recommendations from the Fat Gay Vegan.
They indeed have a some choices for vegans, and though it was not on the menu on the day, they made the vegetarian burger I had walked 20 minutes in the rain for. Lovely soft bread baguette, cashew nut cheese and skinny fries for £12.

I like this place. It's not as crowded as the other bars on the Thames and the bar service is just as fast er slow as all the others. Seriously why does it take so long to get a pint everywhere???
But lots of outdoor seating, great view of the river.
Haven't tried the food here but it smells good.more
It's very easy for riverfront bars in London to apply zero charm and just serve drinks; people will flock anyway at the first sign of sunshine. The Old Ship, however, defies that by keeping its delightful boathouse feel and generally seemingly like a pleasant place to be.
