I visit that pool each week at least 2 or 3 times. It is always clean and warm. It is pricey, but it is not overcrowded and you can do decent swim here.more
the 1930s marble based pool is a real treasure, and delight to swim in.
It was certainly well worth going to the trouble of restoring.
What would have previously been the spectator area looks a bit blank, and i'd have got rid of the coat of arms. Maybe some plants would help?
More problematic are the changing rooms which are cramped and flawed in their layout:

The Marshall Street Leisure Centre is a community gym, pool, and day spa owned by the Westminster Council. It recently re-opened after a major refurbishment. This 1930s marble 30m swimming pool has been completely refurbished and reopened with a modern fitness gym, studios and spa in 2010. It's in the heart of Soho just off Carnaby St and all the facilities can be used pay-as-you-go, including that fabulous pool for £5.30 a swim.more
