Overview

Welcome to Khamsa

In 2009 myself and my wife we gave up our jobs to open khamsa , we thought it is the time for the Algerian cuisine to take its place amongst other cuisines , that’s why we strive to do our best to make our guests discover Algeria with our delicious authentic food.

It wasn’t hard for us to decide what shall be on our menu , thanks to our mothers and culture who gave us the important bases to how to cook the best dishes and cakes , to make them more striking we added our personal touches and twists to them . simplicity , freshness and love they are our main ingredients in everything we produce in our premises .some of the recipes belongs to Khamsa .

Simple but worth a try . small restaurant that needs to be discovered , the whole thing about Khamsa is the whole package , from the minute you step in to the time you leave . The food is absolutely delicious , the owners are honest , friendly and very charming . other food magazines and food writers should try it . one more thing , the Algerian cakes they make indoors are divine and a Must !!more

What a nice surprise. Really authentic fresh food at very reasonable prices. I had chicken with couscous fro my main, delicious! The fruit juices are also delish, especially apple and mint. The service was friendly. I will definitely be going back, a hidden gem.more

Let's not kid ourselves: It's hard to have high expectations for food when living in London, especially when so many ethnic food restaurants dumb-down their flavors and serve up bland fare. Khamsa though is a huge exception. I came in here with some friends recently before checking out a show at Plan B and was just completely floored by this place. My chicken tajine had the perfect blend of...more

Tucked away on Acre Lane in Brix-Clapham are potentially the two nicest resto-owners I've ever met.

Was heading to pick up friends to head to a show, and needed something in da belly beforehand, and popped in here.

Fabulous food, low prices, and super-friendly people. Not too many tables, but I was informed that they're opening the downstairs.

Standards, done well, with excellent...more
