Franco Manca serves pizza made from slow-rising sourdough and is baked in a wood burning 'Tufae' brick oven made to Neapolitan standards. This gives a brilliant crust and pizzas are topped with quality and seasonal ingredients. The downside? It's no secret, so expect to queue.

I love the concept at this restaurant: complete transparency. You can see the pizza being made in front of you if you sit at the front of the restaurant, and there are details on the origins of all the ingredients on the back of the menus.
I ordered a personal pie with British cured ham, mushrooms, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. The dough was fluffy and charred to perfection. No complaints...more
Delicious pizza at a great, affordable price!
It was busy on a weeknight, and our table was rather ignored. I think the waitress was relieved when we were leaving, since she was so busy.
I ordered a standard menu item with anchovies, but the topping is secondary. The crust is thin, crispy, chewy - just beautifully made. I could just eat the crust with any topping, really. Bonus - I...more
Excellent excellent wood burning oven pizza.
I love that they focus on local sourcing and interesting combos--my pizza had some type of boar's bacon and rocket.
Service was good, and the place was noisy (and a bit hot).
A bit of a chain-feel, but other than that a good place for a good pie.more
This is a good local pizza joint, fresh ingredients and friendly service in an airy, roomy restaurant. It is not, however, in my opinion everything people crack it up to be. The dough is somewhat heavy and stodgy with the base on the thick side for what you'd expect and the sauce on the bland side. For superlative Neopolitan style pizza, you'll want to visit Santa Maria in Ealing Green. This...more
Really decent sourdough pizzas for the right prices. Not a huge selection, but totally worth it. The starters are especially good value. We ordered garlic bread, which is as big as a pizza in its own right. Friendly waitstaff took down our mobile number even though we hadn't booked a table, and directed us to the nearby Roebuck. Definitely check this place out!more
