Franco Manca

About

Franco Manca serves pizza made from slow-rising sourdough and is baked in a wood burning 'Tufae' brick oven made to Neapolitan standards. This gives a brilliant crust and pizzas are topped with quality and seasonal ingredients. The downside? It's no secret, so expect to queue.

The pizza is indeed very nice and relatively inexpensive. The service however was apathetic and disinterested. It took a long time to be acknowledged by our waiter who seemed to be far more interested in fraternizing with his fellow employees than serving customers. Good food, poor service.more

Delicious pizza, great selection of toppings and solid service. Pizza tends to get soggy on the bottom but it still tastes good, just gets messy.more

The no logo pale ale that they carry is below average as pale ales go, but is perfectly drinkable at the end of the day. Certainly better than the Peroni you...more
