A friendly landlord offers you a selection of 12 beers. Oh and plenty of ciders too. And a CAMRA reduction. What is the catch? I'd better go back and find out!

Reviewed through the lens of a beer nerd...

A good-looking pub with a great ambience - nice seating options, great music (including vinyl), lots of pubbiness. Amazing food, best burger I've had in ages, homemade, great quality.

Good selection of real ales, lagers, cider and wine. Sunday lunch was mega impressive as well, massive portions reasonably priced. Very friendly staff, was made to feel very welcome

Am amazed it wasn't busier, great venuemore

There are two huge tellys for watching football, which is good. The punters are a bit rough around the edges, but harmless enough. Poor selection of ales, in case that is what you are after.

Staff are efficient and polite.more

Great Pub, blinding atmosphere and Doom Bar to boot.

Popped in for a pie at lunchtime and have to agree with the previous reviewer, the place is like a postman pat appreciation society. No wonder the mail is always late.the postmen are all quaffing ale here.

There are 2 big screens for Sport, a substantial menu, poker on Sundays and opening hours to suit even the hardest of drinkers.
