Royal College of Physicians
Overview
Designed by Sir Denys Lasdun and completed in 1964, it is a modernist masterpiece awarded small museum status and a grade 1 listing in recognition of its architectural importance.
The building has an atmosphere of space and light, with stylish, modern architecture and the impressive portfolio of purpose-designed facilities with a good mixture of old and new styles to suit all tastes, as well as a private garden ideal for outdoor events.
The facilities are further enhanced by numerous rare treasures, artefacts and a collection of rare books and manuscripts. We offer tailor-made guided historical tours of our Heritage Collection, which included anecdotes and stories about our collection.
