My new favourite place...


cos it ticks all the boxes, for me at least.

I was a strick NW Londonite, but recently I have had to venture back to my homeland... I was born across the road from the pub.

Totally free from posers and despo trendies with sour face on. Bar staff is the best, some quietly rude in a hilarious way, others just superbly nice and good at what they do. Always something fun on. Big up the Biddles!! xmore

This lively bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere and is populated with a stylish but unpretentious mix of local residents. Most nights feature a band or DJ and it can get quite loud and crowded so perhaps not the best place for a first date but definitely worth checking out for any other occasion. Biddle Bros is small and unobtrusive - you might not notice it as you walk down Lower Clapton Road in Hackney. As you walk in you'll be greeted by friendly, if eccentric, bar staff. Already, you'll have noticed the difference: greeted by bar staff?

The Biddle Bros. pub has character. The reason it is so charming is because of its somewhat mildly mismatched collection of paraphernalia. From old books, to the plant life, to strange pieces of art, there is no certain theme. Although mildly mismatched, it all comes together to give the place a certain personality.
