This place is legit. I kept hearing that there is no good Mexican in London. After a friend from Texas pointed me in the right direction, I discovered even better -- TexMex!

The guacamole is fresh and made at the table -- go spicy (it's not really spicy). The carnitas tacos were three tiny tacos on corn tortillas and perfectly cooked. And they even have Micheladas (Pacifico is best!)

The guacamole is made table side.... too bad it was WAY too salty. But, at least the bacon wrapped prawn was pretty darn good.more

Maybe I just had low expectations for a Mexican place in the middle of tourist central, but I was surprisingly impressed by this place! Think it was the modern but homely kinda vibe. The inside is all earthy tones, low-hanging lamps and bowls of bright yellow lemons - gives the place a nice warming glow to welcome you in on a rainy winter's eve :)

Finally found a place that does very good Mexican food.

I recommend get the gucamole en molcajete - they make the gucamole in front of you and it is to die for!

For my mains I got camaron poblano asada - grilled stake rapped around stuffed pepper, tiger prawns and some other stuff.

The waiters where very nice and friendly and the drinks where made very well.

Definitely a place to go in...more

It should be noted that I am an EXPAT from Texas. Cantina Laredo was one of my favourite places in Dallas and I was thrilled to see them open in London. But... I wasn't sure if it would be the same.

It was fantastic and brought back many memories of home. The salsa was authentic and great and the margaritas were equally as impressive. For my main I had Pork Tamales. Absolute fantastic. The...more
