Gail's, I was a sceptic, now I'm a believer. I was a sceptic, I guess, because of the Yummy Mummy clientele that Gail's appears to have. And the rather posh choice of ingredients. Together, I thought these would add up to overpriced and so-so produce. I must apologise, for I was wrong.

The first sign of this came with a poppy-seeded bun I had with chicken and some kind of pesto-ey froth type...more

Destroying the £3-a-loaf Bread Shop next door is Gail's with their £4-a-loaf bread. They must thank their lucky stars that Franco Manca only sell their £7-a-loaf bread on Saturdays, otherwise all the Chiswick mum's would flee to where they can really spend some quality dough.

To their overpriced credit, Gail's does do wonderful bread, amazing pastries and Chiswick's best...more

The carrot cake here is amazing - I had it once before and had to try again yesterday. I have tried their soups, tarts and paninis in the past and have liked them all. The seating is a bit limited but we usually go in the afternoon when it's not too busy so haven't had trouble finding an empty table/corner.more

What can I say about this place?

The Coffee is great, the food is great, the staff are great, it is of a much better quality than starbucks/costa/nero. I garuntee once you have been to Gail's you won't want to go back there again. As soon as you walk in you are bombarded with so many delicious things to look at,it honestly takes me around ten minutes just to decide what to get because...more
