Head Chef Gary Durrant at Hunter 486 has carefully developed the new menu, with Henrietta Green; food and hospitality consultant, award-winning food writer and broadcaster. The crowning glory of the new menu is the use of the stone oven. As it operates at a very high heat, meat and fish are produced with astonishingly succulent results. The new menu also introduces Plates, Pots, Boards and Bowls for one or two share, either at the bar over a cocktail, or in the restaurant as a starter or main course, and include homemade crisps with sage, lemon & sea salt made freshly every day. Main courses are around £18 and desserts, all home-made of course, are priced around £6. There is also a traditional roast on Sunday. The special offer menu is £19 for two courses with a choice from the set menu. Breakfast, offers the light option of the continental buffet, through to freshly cooked and served Full English Breakfasts and a range of a la carte breakfast dishes.
