Of all the restaurants I went to in London this past trip, Marcus had the most formal setting, slightly stuffy. But the service was perfect and the food was excellent. I wont drone on and on about the details of the meal and what we ordered (but do try the veal sweetbread) but I will say it was one of the most amazing meals of the my life. I admit that I was here because of Master Chef. Marcus Wareing, the man looks like he knows what he's talking about.
Fun fact, Gordon Ramsay used to be a co-owner of this restaurant (under the name Petrus).
It's located in the elegant yet trendy Berkeley hotel, not far from the Knightsbridge station but most other guests seem to prefer arriving in Aston Martins.
