I understand that this place isn't what people expect in a classic English pub but no one promised that it would be. This place was great in my opinion. Fun bar, with good-looking decor and a club downstairs. However the doormen were sulky and unwelcoming... Then when some random drunk guy hassled me they did nothing. Bit weak.more

I'm hoping to come back here another time for a better experience, but when I went for a food tasting, there were a lot of hiccups. Granted they are new at food, but they did not explain what most of the food was, did not tell us when we were done, and the food was just ok. I've wanted to come for an after-work drink but they're closed on Mondays, when I've tried to go.more

While McQueen starts with what appears to be the right ingredients it quickly proves to be a recipe for disaster with a shallow, rude staff that is too cool for Shoreditch. We live near McQueen and were excited about its opening but with so many other places in the neighborhood willing to actually serve their customers would not return even if the drinks were free.
