Fantastic delicatessen/tea rooms/butchers and anything in between. You can find some really interesting ingredients and meats here and they sell rotisserie chickens for about £4 and you can ask for a free pot of garlic with it.

Phoenicia is probably the best shop in Kentish Town for variety, quality and display. Their bunched herbs are unparalleled for freshness, price and quantity, their olives self-service bar is the only one in the area and the selection is from across the Mediterranean.

This supermarket just gets better and better. You can get everything you need for your ottolenghi and madhur jaffrey recipes, they do a really tasty rotisserie chicken and their Moroccan flat bread is delicious.

Amazing olives

Tasty humous and other home made dips

Decent veg and herbs


Every type of oil and sauce you can think of.

Best wrap in London I think!!! I used to come here everyday for lunch 7 years ago when I first moved to London so it was a pleasant blast from the past going back. The more ocean wrap with potato, hummus and salad is my favourite. I also tried their baklava it was great!!!!!! So cheap too!more

The rest of the shop is packed with good ingredients...but to be honest most of the times I have found myself here is because I (or my husband) had a baklava craving. Their pastries are just sooo good!
