Visited this little gem for the first time last night, and it was a great discovery! Set out great so not crowded even when full and the outside area with room to dance is just awesome. Ok I may be a little biased thanks to the free shot the lovely bartender gave me, but still....
Also my friend lost her phone which was found and returned to her so the place is also obviously full of lovely...more
After ordering a fillet steak, round-eye steak and 3 pints my order came to £72.50. Steak was average, then the Cheeky bar staff added 12.5% service charge to the bill bringing it to £81.56. I questioned the charge as I pulled out my card to pay. Just to be met with nervous gibberish. Paid the bill as it was my girlfriends birthday and didn't want to make a scene. Will not be returning.. Visited the Lost Angel with friends on a Saturday evening and can't understand the hype. There was a smallish entry fee per person, and inside it feels like just another pub trying to market itself as a bar.
Drinks were an average price, service was also average and the bar was packed with a young crowd.
There was nothing particularly bad about the Lost Angel, but there's nothing special...more
Absolutely worth a visit! The place is buzzing with good energy has a very friendly staff. Sunday afternoon was very chilling, there was an offer £20 and drink as much Bloody Marry as you can=-) ooops. =-) Great bar, and even though we did not come for a big meal, my friend was very happy with his burger and chips.more
This place is amazing! Everywhere from the decor to the music to the drinks to the food. The staff is very accommodating. The decor is very eclectic and plenty of cool and comfy places to sit and people watch. The music selection is awesome including 80s and dub step/electronic club music. Absolutely adore this place :)more
