Ruislip Manor locals looking for a meal close to home are probably already familiar with The Cedar Tree on Victoria Road. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and serves tasty food, but it is the enthusiastic service and fun weekend entertainment make this a little neighbourhood gem. Suitable for business dining, the restaurant has lots of vegetarian options and meze plates which are ideal for sharing-style meals with friends or family. Our favourite dishes include the kibbeh mik'liyeh a deep-fried cracked-wheat shell filled with minced lamb, onions and pine kernels; the seasoned minced lamb with parsley and onions and salad; and the Lebanese milk pudding topped with rose water syrup and pistachios.
