Overview

Situated on Hammersmith Road, opposite London Olympia, Miran Masala is a warm and welcoming local eatery specialising in traditional Indian and Pakistani cuisine with a contemporary twist. The friendly staff are always on hand to guide you through the menu and the chefs use only the freshest spices and produce in their flavoursome dishes. We recommend starting with some of their excellent seekh kebabs, followed by some of their signature lamb chops or a familiar favourite like karahi butter chicken. Vegetarians are well catered for with dishes like muttar paneer and masala baigan on offer. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent lassis make Miran Masala the perfect setting for a quick lunch with your colleagues or a relaxed dinner with friends and family.

First of all, this restaurant should be categorized as Indian and not Pakistani food as it is clearly marked Punjab Indian food on their window. There aren't a lot of restaurants in this part of London so this place really stands out. We ordered garlic naan, samosas, and chicken tikka masala and the food was great and a reasonable price. We had coconut ice cream for desert which was also very...more

The lamb ghosh was good. The daal dengi was ok. Not sure if that was the restaurants fault or I just don't like the dish, the naan was not what I expected of a naan. It was ok at best. Too thin for my taste,

The kheer was amazing. Incredibly rich. Not sweet enough for me...but then I don't think anyone makes things sweet enough for me. To my utter surprise I still recommend it!

Yelp is restoring my faith in London's curryhouses. I went to Miran Masala on the way home from a late-ish work night (absolutely starving). Normally, I wouldn't have looked twice at the place and it's yet anoher restaurant that I've been past over 10 times in the last year. If only I'd known, I would've come here instead of Hare and Tortoise...

After the complimentary poppadoms (with...more

Miran Masala is the place to go for great Pakistani food, reasonably priced. My wife and her brother and I came here for dinner in May and enjoyed a delicious meal - My brother-in-law and I got the chicken kabuli ( http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz_photos/E3Qvjx014YeHfq3W6U8E0w?select=1J6MSLZnnLEqAOLGKUs41w ), which was fantastic. My wife got the butter chicken, which was also good. With some tasty...more

I used to live around the corner from Miran Masala, and the quality of the food at this restaurant is so remarkable that I've found myself heading back with a craving for some of their dishes, even though I now live a good hour's Tube journey away.

Miran Masala definitely fits into the 'authentic' category of Indian restaurants, and this is obvious from the mostly Indian clientele -...more
