Can't go wrong with Gaucho. I've been to the one on Swallow street maybe five or six times. I love it. This one is cool too. Not that different, really. Just kind of different.

One of our favourite restaurants especially as my husband loves steak!! I cany really fault this place other than its pricey but you pay for what you get. Excellent service and excellent food. They bring out a selection of meats, different cuts for you to choose from and help recommend the best option for you (rather than just sell you the biggest steak) they also recommend sides to go with it...more
They have different restaurants with the decor all different within London, each restaurant has a slightly different menu and cooks the steak a bit different..
The restaurant is great for a romantic meal the atmosphere is calm.
You may take 2hrs + on a meal and enjoy the live band music that might be playing in the restaurant..
The prices aren't cheap but for a one off fancy meal then this...more
I have been to Gaucho a few times now and every time it has delivered! The first time I went ,I fell in love with the Medallion Lomo medium rare. The Lomo is the tenderest fillet beef and the waiter recommended it because I told him I wanted the softest one. The medallion is the "smaller" size, but at 225g, it was perfect for me.
