Love this place. I came here for the first time this weekend with a couple of mates and was very impressed.
We nabbed a window-seat to soak up the last of the Saturday sunshine, and the pub has a nice open plan. The bar has a great selection of ales and lager at very cheap priced for London (pale ale around £3.60 a pint) and the bar-man was very efficient in serving a lot of us very quickly....more
A group of about eight of us went for dinner and drinks at the Horatia recently, and unfortunately, it fell short of what we were hoping for. This pub has changed guise a few times recently and here is the latest incarnation, Horatia. It seems to be trying its best. There was some stand up comedy open mic event on when I visited; some of it was even funny.
Is trying to do a couple of real ales but has chosen the two most predictable options, GK IPA and fullers Lp, and my pint of the former didn't taste too good either.
