Great place to watch the football with your dad and catch over a drink. Yes will find old Irish men in there but it is a pub in what used to be an Irish area. Prices are very reasonable. If reviewers don't like working class people I would suggest they go to coffee bar and not a pub.more
Not the worst place by any means it just couldn't be further from my scene.
We had dinner at Pizza East Kentish Town and left around 0015. I had looked on yelp and there was a place called aces & eights nearby that sounded decent. It was however packed and there was a cover charge etc so we instead ended up at the Boston Arms across the road.

Right proper boozer, this one! Best to keep a low profile, which might sound like a turn off but the anthropologist/sociologist side of me loved having a pint or two here.

Just across from Tufnell Park Tube, this spacious pub is a convenient one - if ya don't mind the rough-n-tumble atmo and being viewed askew by aging working class Irishmen.more

I'm giving the Boston 3 stars mainly through fear. This is a pub not to be approached under any circumstances in a suit. The beer is cheap, people will try and sell you cheese and bicycles, and there is the potential for a bar brawl brewing upon a late night.
