Great little pub if you're looking to have drinks after work. It can get quite crowded, and I've been pushed to hang out on the sidewalk... but I don't mind as long as the weather is alright! We had a few drinks outside and stayed for a couple of hours, watching other patrons. It's quite amusing if you think that most of the people there are probably complaining about work!more
Really solid after-work pub. The crowd was super lively and the beer selection was excellent. Coming here made me feel like a true London salaryman.more
The Plumbers can be ok if it's not too busy. Otherwise it's pretty painful spending an evening having people push past to get to the toilets (which sometimes have a tendency to fragrance the rest of the pub). It's much better when there's a bit of breathing space ie. early in the week after work.
Oh yeah, in the summer (like some of the other pubs in the area) they have a pavement monitor...more
