I've been here many times on Friday & Saturday night, which is of course their best talent nights, and the music and atmosphere has been fantastic. So good, that I would be happy to pay a cover charge to further support the bar/musicians/bands. Alas, they VERY rarely ever charge cover, so I happily buy the CDs if they' band is selling.

The venue is rather small, and can fit only about 100 people or so, so one should come early to grab a table.

After a major revamp and remodelling, the newest Jazz & Blues bar to hit Angel and Islington is 'Round Midnight. With bands playing most nights, there is a good atmosphere and good times to be had here. While they have food, it is only available till a certain time and it appeared the kitchen shuts down before the bands starts to play.
