Itsu
Overview
Itsu is a chain of Japanese restaurants that has emerged in recent times. The interior is very designer, with conveyor belts of sushi sliding past the glass shop front and little stools to perch on. The menu is a totally original mix of Japanese and European dishes. The plates are colour coded according to price. Itsu does not take reservations, but kindly asks their guests to entertain themselves in the bar area whilst waiting for a table.

I'm still not the the point where I fully enjoy it any more. I've eaten at sit-down Itsu restaurants, which were fine, but just be careful with this one. I guess the take-away menu may not be so fresh.more
I've seen this chain around and often thought that it looked quite interesting. Well today I decided to pop in and try them out. I opted for the Chicken Noodle soupy thingy. Although I must admit to being pretty daunted by the size and weight of the thing.
Like a total glutton I scoffed the lot though, and loved every mouthful. Tipping up the container cup style to drink the miso broth when...more
