Another day another lunch date..it's been one of those months. I picked Loch Fyne as I hadn't been there since they did it up and it offers fish as well as meat dishes, light as well as full meals...I don't usually like an encyclopaedia of dishes on offer but Loch Fyne seem to be able to offer a variety without making it daunting to pick a dish.

Whilst it's a chain this branch is in a quiet hide out in leaden hall market. The ambience is nice and relaxed with some good choices of fish on the menu. I went for the 3course menu for £18 which is dead cheap in central London. The special of the day was mussels so I chose that with a pescatori soup to start with. This place is an upmarket fish restaurant with a great menu. Some pricey items but all in all I'd say average for good quality fish dishes in London.
I absolutely loved the mussels here. Definitely some of the best I've ever had. They were just delicious with a great sauce and such soft, fresh white bread. My friend had the sea bass and said it was really good.
