So there I was on a Friday night, wondering what to do when a friend invited me out with a bunch of people to attend a night of rockaoke. Punk is a strange venue. part drag queen glamour, part student hang out, it has nothing in common with its actual name. during the week they have a few good drink specials on, but theyre nothing to really write home about. the toilets (and the whole area towards them) smell horrendously and have a bathroom attendent who make you feel very awkward for not giving her any money.

Hmmm. I seem to remember going to Punk when it was known as Pop. I hear that it is due to be renamed Electro, at which point the music played there will all be 60's Acoustic Folk.

Despite the meagre two star review, I really enjoyed myself at Punk. We went in at around 10:30pm and pretty much had the place to ourselves for two hours.

Why stay home when you can hit the London scene! At Punk, you'll be dancing all night to the beat among some of the trendiest under 30's in London who love and crave attention.

The dance floor is expansive and situated around large opulent couches and beautiful floral print wallpaper. There's mood lighting that changes to the beat and a stage for live performances on some nights. I like how...more

Punk is for nobs. And if you go in, and enjoy anything about your time here, then you're probably a nob too. I've been four times. But only after people I know (nobs) made me.
