What beautiful bar! I felt like had been taken back in time to the roaring 20s! The chandeliers were amazing - a true work of art. There is a whole cocktail section in the menu "inspired by the 1920s" (and the cocktails are simply gorgeous; served in the most beautiful glasses). I came here with friends before a show to spamalot, which is notably nicer than others in embankment but not as expensive as a few others. I had the lobster bisque which was ok, the bacon wrapped dates - yum and pheasant, which was tough. The burger my friend had was good. So before a show yes. On a normal night nomore
How sad...such a waste of attractive space.
Lots of marble and plush seating near the bar area, the bar is glitzy and the dining area tastefully decorated.
Interesting menu, small and large plates, and a pre-theater menu for less that 20 pounds. Lots of wines, too few by the glass.
The service is what made it such a waste. The waiter had to check our order and still got it wrong, too many...more
