I stumbled upon the Prince of Wales my 3rd week in London on my way to visit a potential client. I was hungry and popped in for a beer and some chips. The bartender was really cool and friendly. The Prince of Wales is a solid boozer, notable for two reasons: it is a regular meeting place for Pythons Terry Jones and Michael Palin (on a previous visit Terry Gilliam was also there and complaining about how John Cleese never called him) and it hosts possibly the best pub quiz in London.
