Poor options for vegetarians. Ordered the fish, very expensive, very small, and nothing special.

Service was OK, rather pretentious, they kinda start trying near the end but not really. They added 2 drinks we didn't order to the bill, and were awkward to correct it. Made us feel like we did something wrong.

Despite that, service charge of 12.50% was still added to the bill. Not very French...more

Sorry, too harsh? Our reception at Cafe a Vin was so rude and offhand that I felt like I was actually *in* France. The host didn't want to sit us at a table for 4 and kept gesturing towards the bar. I'm not sitting at the bar with my boyfriend. I would preferably like to look at him, not sit alongside like awkward drinking buddies who don't like to make eye contact.

Un moment exceptionnel. Tout y est, le cadre, le personnel, les plats, le vin. Un moment gastronomique superbe. Même si le pianiste y va un peu trop fort. Je conseille même si le prix peut paraître cher.more
