Green's Restaurant and Oyster Bar
Overview
Owned by Simon Parker-Bowles, Lord Daresbury and Lord Vestey, this cavernous, chi-chi dining room has a pedigree beyond its aristocratic ownership in that it is set in the grand halls of a former Lloyds bank in Cornhill, and the monied crowd of suits, solicitors and socialistas adore the fresh oysters, the Laurent-Perrier Champagne room, and the semi-private high-backed leather booths perfect for discreet business dining. The wine list is impressive, and highlights include the Loch Ryan oysters, and the rump of Lovaton Farm lamb and the chilled rice pudding.
