About

The Becket is back! Sympathetically restored, this iconic venue firmly establishes its rightful place along the Old Kent Road. Prepare to be amazed as you move through the venue and marvel at the magnificent chandeliers, ornate marble fireplace and exposed brickwork before reaching the club area with its exuberant colours and the very latest in sound system technology. Thomas A Becket is where food meets style. They offer a sophisticated and elegant dining experience with a unique, eclectic range of grill dishes with a South American twist. You will be engulfed in an indulgent atmosphere where the decor is opulent and decadent and the welcome warm and relaxed. Situated on the Old Kent Road on the junction with Albany Road and overlooking the greens of Burgess Park, The Becket has been reborn with the aim of offering the corporate world, students and locals alike a venue where they can relax in a stylish and elegant atmosphere.

Very nice and friendly place. I felt quite welcomed by the warm greeting from the staff and the comfortable tables and chairs. Also, the food and drinks are good so it's a sure recommendation.more
