Overview

Patch is an eclectic mix, part open plan LA apartment, part rustic getaway; a combination of relaxed restaurant, cocktail and wine bar and contemporary club. How you see it all depends on what mood you're in, what the occasion is, the time of day and how big your group is - sit at the bar, have a meal with colleagues, seal that deal over an informal business meeting, lounge with friends and even have a dance.

We offer friendly service, are open late on Thursday and Friday with DJs and tend to attract a good mix of younger and trendier City workers. That's how we like it.

Hidden on a backstreet near St Paul's Cathedral, it's easy to think that we're just a daytime eating and drinking venue. As the day goes on, it's downstairs where the fun happens. And if there's one thing we take seriously, it's fun.
Patch is located in a lovely little City backstreet, full of the character which the bar itself so sadly lacks. Music, drinks, prices, food and decor are all completely and utterly standard. There is literally nothing to mark out this place as remotely different from any of the hundreds of forgettable establishments littering London. The service is fine and the clientele . . . well,...more

The Happy Hour is 5-7 with offers on wines, champagnes, spirits and cocktails as well as our fabulous Sharing Slates, so Patch is a nice place to meet after work. Your best reserving a little table through their website though, that way you can put your coats and bags down. Music is OK and gets turned up a little later in the evening. Only been there till 7:30/9pm max. Nice starter for a long...more

I stopped in at lunch time for some tapas as the venue listed an intriguing deal outside. Unfortunately, tapas were not served until later in the day; however, Patch offered seven or eight lunchtime items for £4. I tried the Brie and Caramelized Onions Wrap per recommendation of the server. It was fair for the price and came with fries, so there were no complaints about the value.
